Default Ipod/Itunes probs. HELP?!

I love my music and specialy my music vids, so a couple of months ago i opened up itunes to watch some of them and the videos just went messed up: loads of wierd colored lines appeared all over them and then the vid screen went black. i synced up my Ipod Vid and they worked on ther, so it wasnt a prob.
Since then my Ipod vid has bn stolen (:'() and i still have 2 buy a new one. i have fiddled around with the options, but not 2 much cuz i dont want 2 screw everything else up. as i dont have another ipod i cant check to c if they still work, i am starting to get a BIT worried
if u no hw to fix the prob, plz post, just bcuz i said i fiddled with the options doesnt mean its isnt in ther so plz plz plz post if u no i want to watch my vids!

ive also alrdy had a bit of a look around on other forums but i cant find the apple support 1 and wen they email me they send me sum crappy piece of shit saying 2 reinstall itunes but thers a bug on their site so yeah.

HELP!
